THE MOSAIC JOURNAL

Where a love for photography meets a desire to preserve life and all it's seasons

Classic Southern Wedding at Barn South | Lydia + Steve

They had us at “there will be fireworks”. Okay, but really Lydia and Steve have been incredible since we first met. Even their proposal was especially beautiful.  Steve proposed on Valentine’s Day with a video of him playing “Rewrite the Stars” (from their all time favorite musical) on the violin – I mean, c’mon. Talk about a quality love story.

They’re two of the most kind, chill, happy people in the world and on top of that they know how to have fun!  Their ceremony was so thoughtful and beautifully set in a large barn with all white walls and ceilings. It definitely made the timeless greenery and white florals pop.  Steve wore a classy white suit with black lapel and Lydia’s gown was something from an elegant fairytale.  The reception didn’t disappoint with crepe and pizza trucks. Plus their personalized marquee sign lit up cocktail hour like nothing we’ve seen before.  Don’t get me started on the one-of-a-kind, first dance they prepared together… Oh and how did they wrap up the night and celebrate their marriage? A gorgeous firework show.  Let me say it again for the people in the back …these two know how to HAVE FUN. Congratulations Lydia and Steve!
