Katie & Quinton are basically family. We’ve known Katie’s sister and her husband since college, so we were truly honored to take part in such a big moment for their family. Their wedding day certainly didn’t disappoint!
While Quinton and his groomsmen dressed downstairs (cowboy boots and all), Katie and her bridesmaids prepared for the ceremony in the upstairs bridal suite of the historic homestead on the property. Katie’ maid of honor wore a pretty, purple dress while the rest of the girls wore a slightly paler purple. Each girl held a single tulip for portraits with the bride, and the simplicity of that was so lovely. The ceremony took place under a large oak with tons of loving family and friends. The couple braided a unity cross to symbolize their marriage and their vows were emotional to say the least. The reception to follow was quite the party! Boots stomped and everyone danced arm and arm with their partners. It was so much fun celebrating Katie and Quinton’s big day. We can’t wait to see where life takes them!
