Lauren and Alex met briefly at Lauren’s best friend’s wedding. A few years later, Lauren moved back to Atlanta and was invited to shoot the hooch (aka: tube the Chattahoochee River) with a bunch of friends. It was during that trip that she ran into Alex again, and shortly after they began dating.
The day Alex proposed they were supposed to camp with friends in Helen for Oktoberfest. Despite the fact that it rained and everyone else bailed, Alex and Lauren went anyway and made the hike up Nora Mill. Ultimately, Alex got down on one knee and asked Lauren to marry him!
We’re still talking about how amazing Lauren and Alex’s wedding was! From their beautiful ceremony to the appearance of a cow at the reception (you’ll see what we mean in the pictures), there was never a dull moment. And just when we thought they couldn’t be any cooler of a couple, they told us about their honeymoon…these adventurous spirits were heading out in their camper for a two-week excursion. Love these guys and couldn’t be happier for them!
