Kyle’s sister, Katy, is a mutual friend and colleague of ours, and to be honest…she’s practically family! That being said, when she told us she wanted to gift Kyle and his new fiancee, Hilary, with an engagement session while they were in town from New York we were so excited! The engagement session took place in downtown Lawrenceville, and we loved getting to know another member of Katy’s awesome family and his soon-to-be wife.

Hilary & Kyle’s wedding day was just as amazing and the weather was perfect (thanks again for being nice to us Georgia – we all know you’re notorious for scorching heat and rough humidity in May)! Their sweet outdoor ceremony took place outside of The Solarium at Historic Scottish Rite and the intimate reception to follow was decorated with beautiful magnolia flowers adding a little southern flare. I can’t forget about those Koozies either, Hilary’s an amazing artist and the family portrait she designed on them was pretty perfect.

Altogether, it was such a fun event and we still talk about the epic dance party they had that night. Also we’ll probably never forget about the cake “cutting” – seeing them take a huge bit right out of the cake is definitely one of our favorite wedding moments ever. Congratulations once again Hilary & Kyle!
