Where a love for photography meets a desire to preserve life and all it's seasons

Why a Wedding Photography Timeline is Clutch

We don’t know anyone that doesn’t wanted to enjoy their wedding day and be fully present for all the special moments. However, it’s hard to have fun when you don’t have a plan. Most people thing of getting a planner to help take care of the details, vendor arrivals, etc, (which is definitely important) but they don’t think about making a plan with the photographers – the people that probably be with them the ENTIRE day. The last thing you want is for a lack of planning on the photo side to leave you upset that you didn’t get images. Or worse, a bad experience that leaves you stressed. That’s where a photography timeline comes in!

A few months before the wedding day, we send out a questionnaire to better understand your vision, what’s important to you and any contacts we should connect with. First and foremost, we reach out to your planner (or your mama if she’s doing the planning). This way we can collaborate on schedules and make sure we fit in all the photos we need to take on your wedding day. We like to say the “timeline” is more like an “order of events” so that we aren’t stressing about things happening at exact times, but can all be on the same page with what needs to be shot.
